So good, I made it twice. First in 2021, inspired by the iconic green silk gown from Atonement, and again in 2023, this time in a rich, heavy golden silk that felt just as cinematic.
At first glance, it reads as a dress, but it’s cleverly constructed from a fluid spaghetti-strap vest and wide-leg trousers. Come Christmas, I made a long-sleeved top to pair with the trousers. One can’t stop the chill getting in the way!
